fif "The lower forty eight" [CS] SAD087
The lower forty eight is a 46-minute LP that moves between dissonant, spastic instrumentals and intimate bedroom laments. It explores themes of identity collapse and the slow process of clawing it back. Musically, it blends math rock, post-hardcore, and alternative: think jagged guitar interplay in the style of Faraquet, combined with the lyrical vulnerability of early Liz Phair or PJ Harvey.
